Meteorologist Aloha Taylor's weather forecast can be see nightly at 10:00 on San Diego 6 News and on 11 @ !!. Aloha was born and raised in Hawaii and is well known to both the San Diego viewers and the staff of the San Diego 6 News room for (literally) radiating the “aloha spirit of friendliness and kindness” .

Aloha began her television career in 1998 at KGMB 9 News in Honolulu and in addition to delivering the weather, she hosted a variety of local programs including a weekly cooking show called Island Chefs. Aloha first came to San Diego in 2001 to work for KFMB as their meteorologist for both their morning and noon news programs.

After 4 years in San Diego, Aloha decided to move to Minneapolis to work for WCCO-TV, the CBS owned & operated station, as the weekend meteorologist. However, it only took one year for Aloha to decide she needed to come back to the warm weather and friendly faces of San Diego, and when she did, she joined us here at San Diego 6 News as the 10pm News meteorologist.

Aloha completed the broadcast meteorology program at Mississippi State University with honors and also holds a BA in Communication from Hawaii Pacific University. She was awarded the American Meteorological Society's seal of approval in 2002. She holds professional affiliations with both the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association.

Aloha's greatest joy is her daughter, Taylor, born in 2006. "Motherhood is such a blessing. Seeing the world through the eyes of a child is truly inspirational, putting life in perspective. Every single day Taylor reminds me to enjoy the simplest things we often take for granted. Her laughter is contagious."

Aloha's passions include cooking, sewing, finding great deals, and spending time with her daughter, family, and friends.
