Courtney Dwyer is a reporter and anchor for San Diego 6 News.
She can be seen weekends 7:00-9:00 a.m. anchoring San Diego 6 News and weekdays reporting for San Diego 6 News at 10:00 p.m.
Courtney was born and raised in San Diego, where she graduated from
Patrick Henry High School. She also graduated from San Diego State
University with a degree in journalism. Courtney met her husband at
SDSU, where her parents also graduated.
Before arriving at San Diego 6, Courtney was an anchor and reporter in
Palm Springs. She's also been on the air with Adelphia Headline News in
Carlsbad, and a writer and editor for San Diego's CBS affiliate.
Courtney says the best thing about her job is the wide variety of people
she gets to meet every day.
