Marc Bailey and San Diego 6 News in the Morning are part of the daily routine for thousands of San Diegans. Marc is co-anchor of the popular morning newscast. The San Diego native is seen weekday mornings with co-anchor Lynda Martin from 5-9 am.
Marc says it was during his years growing up in San Diego that he first realized he wanted to be a broadcaster. Before pursuing that dream, however, he wanted to spend some time in service to the community. That led to three and a half years as a San Diego police officer. The experience became a valuable asset when he became a reporter. Marc's broadcasting career started locally at KOGO radio. He honed his television skills on the national cable networks E! Entertainment Television, HBO, and CNN. Before arriving at San Diego 6, Marc was the lead anchor at KNXV-TV in Phoenix and morning anchor in at WAGA in Atlanta. Marc holds a BA from National University.
