Surviving on Diet Pepsi, chocolate covered raisins, and afternoon naps, ladies and gentleman...here she is! Renee Kohn-meteorologist and traffic reporter for San Diego 6 in the morning and the spunky, silly, often sarcastic co-host of San Diego Living.
Renee has moved many, many, many times....much to the dismay of her very loud cat, Bailey. She's called these places home while working at other (definitely not as much fun) tv stations : Los Angeles, Fort Worth & Lubbock, TX, Huntsville, Alabama, and Santa Maria, CA.
Renee's weather forecasts have earned her the AMS Seal of Approval from the American Meteorological Society. She got her certification in meteorology from Mississippi State University. She's a proud buffalo--University of Colorado at Boulder alumn, who's also lived in England and Israel. She's a Southern California native and the proud aunt of nine amazing nieces and nephews.
When Renee's not working, you can see her perform with her improv comedy troupe, National Comedy Theatre, in Mission Hills.
