Sherri Palmeri is a feature and travel reporter for San Diego 6. Her "Day Trippin' with Sherri" segments visit interesting places around Southern California. Sherri began her broadcast career in radio before becoming a reporter for the CBS-affiliate WROC-TV in Rochester, New York. She arrived in San Diego to cover consumer and investigative stories for KFMB. She has also worked for Orange County News Channel where she was a general assignment reporter, and had a weekly real estate segment. Sherri is an Emmy-award winning journalist, and a graduate of Syracuse University. She hopes to one day publish a novel.
