EL CAJON - A 57-year-old woman who was fatally struck by a sportscar as she was crossing a street mid-block in El Cajon was identified Thursday.
Judy Chi was trying to cross six lanes of traffic shortly before 6 a.m. Wednesday when she was hit by a southbound Mazda RX-7 in the 300 block of North Second Street, according to El Cajon police and the Medical Examiner's Office.
Chi died at the scene. The motorist was not arrested.
