A pregnant woman was rescued Monday with only minor cuts and scratches after losing control of her car and going down a canyon in La Jolla.
Around 4 p.m., the 31-year-old pregnant woman was driving south on Alta La Jolla Drive and Soledad Road.
Police say she lost control of her car, went down the canyon and hit a tree.
She was pulled to safety with only minor cuts and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Police say she's three months pregnant, and the baby is in good condition.
