LA MESA - La Mesa police on Thursday asked for the public's help in finding a woman who punched another woman in a Target parking lot.
The victim told officers she was outside the Grossmont Center store around 6 p.m. Tuesday when she stopped to watch another woman screaming at a young child, according to the La Mesa Police Department.
The victim was about to walk away when the other woman attacked her, police said. The extent of the victim's injury was not immediately reported.
The assailant was described as black and in her mid-20s with curly hair. The child with her appeared to be about 4, police said.
