WEBSTER - Police responded to an emergency call at 2 A.M. Thursday of a 2-vehicle accident at the corner of Federal Boulevard and Euclid Avenue. When they got on scene they saw a red sedan and blue truck seriously damaged.

Police say a couple in the red sedan ran a red light at the intersection and slammed into the blue truck. They were going about 40-45 MPH, which was fast enough to flip the woman's truck.

A witness on scene said he rescued the woman from the flipped truck.

"[The passengers] had minor injuries. The driver of the pickup truck had a complaint about her right arm," said Officer Billy Aldan with the San Diego Police Department.

The woman was transported to a hospital. She appeared to have minor injuries. The couple was not hurt. Alcohol did not seem to play a role in the crash.

All lanes are clear.
