Emergency Delivery on I-15

Tools

By Lindsay Hood

A Chula Vista father is breathing a sigh of relief Monday after delivering his son on the I-15 freeway.

Aaron Reynolds and his wife Nicole were headed to Kaiser Hospital in Grantville, when his wife told him the baby was on his way.

"She told me she was pushing, so I had no choice I had to pull over [and] get to [the] passenger seat to make sure the baby was safe," Aaron Reynolds said.

Reynolds pulled over and dialed 911 and the dispatcher gave him directions on how to deliver his third child. He says he gives all the credit to the 911 operator who gave him all the information he needed to help deliver his son.

Mama and baby are doing well.
