Firefighters Battle Fire in City Heights

Firefighters made quick work of a brush fire in City Heights near Dwight and 38th streets Wednesday .

The fire started in a canyon shortly before 11 a.m.

San Diego police officers quickly evacuated homes along the canyons ridge.

Firefighters had the fire out within 20 minutes.

No word on what caused the fire.
