Person Hit By Trolley in La Mesa

A person was hit and trapped under the trolley in La Mesa Tuesday.

It happened around 11 a.m. the the La Mesa Trolley station in the 8200-block of La Mesa Blvd.

The victim was transported to a local hospital.

The trolley's Orange Line was shutdown for nearly 30 minutes while officers conducted their investigation.

No word on the victim's condition.
