Fire Crews made quick work at a house fire in Santee Friday morning. Investigators say it may have been an electrical fire.

The fire broke out in a garage around 4 a.m. in the 10000-block of Santana St. When firefighters arrived, they found smoke and flames coming from the attic.

Four people living inside the home were able to make it to safety. Two people were treated for smoke inhalation. No one was hospitalized, and they're all expected to be fine.

The home is part of sober living program, according to one of the victims. Firefighters say the garage was converted into bedrooms. They're still looking into whether all proper procedures were followed.

Chief Dave Miller says it was difficult for his crew to get to the flame because of all the material. When asked if there was a hoarding problem, he said no.

The American Red Cross will be assisting the residents with a temporary place to stay. No word yet on when or if they'll be let back in. The damage is estimated at about $100,000.
