SAN DIEGO - One person was fatally shot Friday at a Valencia Park home, San Diego police said.
Witnesses reported hearing gunshots at 5200 block of Santa Margarita around 2:30 p.m. Police found 26-year-old Philip Carrillo Aguilar wounded in the front room of the home.
Two men were reportedly in the front room just before the shooting. Neighbors reported seeing the men leave after the shots were fired.
Aguilar died at Mercy Hospital in San Diego, according to a San Diego Fire-Rescue dispatcher. His identity is being withheld pending family notification.
