SAN DIEGO - A motorcyclist was hospitalized Friday after being involved in a hit-and-run accident in the East County.
The unidentified motorcyclist struck a vehicle and the center divider on the northbound state Route 125 connector to eastbound state Route 94 around 1:40 a.m. and then fled the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The motorcyclist was located at Kenwood Gardens Apartments in the Spring Valley area around 2:15 a.m., the CHP reported.
Alcohol may have been a factor, according to the CHP. The motorcyclist is expected to be taken into custody once released from the hospital.
