- Starts & ends at the School of Infantry -- West parade deck at Pendleton
- Participants can join to run any distance but are encouraged to meet
the Marines at the start line, a relay check point, the 117-mile turn around
point, and or prior to the finish line
COSTCO HONORS SAN DIEGOS HEROS Costco to honor the heroes of San Diego by hosting a special shopping event, Saturday, November 7th from 6-8pm to thank them and recognize them for their contribution to our community. This special event will feature pictures with Santa, refreshments and special food samplings, and many stores will feature fire trucks, police cars and entertainment from local organizations to add to the festivities. LIVE LIKE A CHAMPION TOURThe tour is a 16-week statewide traveling outreach campaign designed to get children moving and empower them to make healthy lifestyle choices now and in the future. Sponsored by Anthem Blue Cross of California in collaboration with the California Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, Live Like a Champion features interactive games and challenging sports themed activities to help children bring out their "inner champion." Children can also learn what fruits and vegetables their favorite athlete eats and what exercises and activities they participate in to stay healthy.
