School Workbook
San Diego schools have a new workbook to help them better connect with student needs and close the achievement gap.
It offers tips on understanding the specific needs of different students so they're happier at school and more apt to learn.
In relation to migrant students, one of the tips offered by the workbook is to highlight the students cultural experience and make it a positive part of a lesson so the student feels included.

Casting Call
A nationwide search is now underway for a lead role in Hugh Jackman's new movie.
Producers are looking for a 10 to 14-year-old boy who is street-smart, tough and charming.
The film is Real Steel, directed by Shawn Levy.
No acting experience is necessary!
