Crime Map
The San Diego Sheriff's Department is rolling out a new tool that will allow you to see what crimes are happening in your neighborhood with the click of a mouse.
The data on their new crime-mapping website will come from police reports and the site will be updated once a day.
The crimes are divided into 15 categories. When you click on a particular crime, it gives specific details residents might want to know.
The Omega Group runs this site for more then 500 cities across the country. So when you travel you can also use the site.
H1N1 Video Contest
An Escondido teenager is one of the finalists in a video contest to help people protect themselves from the H1N1 flu.
17-year-old Joshua Jones from Orange Glen High School created a PSA meant to look like an old-time commercial, encouraging people to wash their hands often.
The California Department of Public Health received more than 100 video entries and selected the top 10. Now, you can vote for your favorite.
The winner gets a $500 gift card and will have their video aired on TV.
