The idea of a car that flies seems like fantasy, but not to one San Diego man. Stephen Harris and his father have designed the Aerocar -- a car with wings.
On Wednesday they tested a model at the San Diego Low Wind tunnel. They told us the tests show the car could fly.
"We were extremely pleased how the data came out," said Harris. "We believe we have a practical airplane."
Stephen's company, Leigh Aerosystems, has designed numerous weapons systems and drones for the military. They say their background provides the expertise to design a model that could be actually built.
