NATIONAL CITY - Students at a school in National City were evacuated to a safer area after a construction crew ruptured a natural gas line Wednesday.
It happened in the 2700 block of East 4th Street where an apartment building is under contruction.
The site is next to the San Diego Academy. Students were moved to the other side of their building, away from the leak location as a precaution.
