SAN DIEGO - San Diego police released photographs on Friday of two suspects accused an armed robbery targeting several people in a car in North Park last summer.

Corey Cooper and Dewayne Freeman allegedly flagged down the car around 11:40 p.m. on June 29, 2008, in the 4000 block of Texas Street and threatened the occupants with a shotgun and handgun.

They allegedly took money and personal items from the victims, who were poked in the face by the shotgun barrel, though none required hospitalization, police said.

The suspects ran off when another vehicle approached.

Police described Cooper as black, 28 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 250 pounds, and Freeman as black, 32 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 180 pounds.

People with information on the suspects were asked to call the San Diego County Crime Stoppers toll-free anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477, or send e-mail or a text message to sdcrimestoppers.com.

The organization will pay $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Robbery Suspect

San Diego police are hoping you can help identify a robbery suspect who's hit at least five commerical businesses around the county.

The robberies took place over a two week period from August 20th to September 2nd at two drug stores, a pet store and two adult book stores.

Police say the suspect's standard approach is to enter the business and shop for a period of time. He then takes the items to the register and gives the clerk a demand note, saying he has a gun.

No weapon has been seen and so far, no one has been injured.

The man is black, about 6'2", 210 pounds with a thin mustache.

Racist Graffiti

A $10,000 reward is being offered for the arrest of the person responsible for vandalizing property in Vista.

Authorities say the incidents happened on August 19th and 20th at the Buena Vista Park in Vista.

Racist graffiti was spraypainted and items set on fire caused $50,000 in damage.
