SAN DIEGO - Two people were injured in a possibly gang-related drive-by shooting late Friday afternoon in the Valencia Park neighborhood, a San Diego police officer said.
The victims were shot around 5:15 p.m. in an area along Churchward Street between Euclid Avenue and Santa Margarita Street, Officer David Stafford said.
Witnesses reported that the gunfire came from a red Toyota Camry with two male occupants, Stafford said.
The victims -- one suffered a chest wound, the other a wound to the groin -- were rushed to a hospital, but condition reports were not immediately available.
