SAN DIEGO - A water main break closed 54th Street in both directions in Oak Park Wednesday morning,
The break at 54th and Chollas Parkway was reported just before 7 a.m. The area is south of University Avenue.
All but one lane was opened while repairs were made.
The San Diego Water Department says only two homes were affected by the water outage.
The cast iron pipe was replaced & water service was restored within a couple of hours.
