TO EVERYONE WHO HAS WISHED US WELL...Oliver and I are so grateful for your good wishes and support! We have been truly blessed, because we now have this precious bundle of fur in our lives. He is an absolute joy and has already given us so much love. He's doing great, loves to play and cuddle, and doesn't seem to be affected by the tragedy that befell him. Thank you all for caring, and God bless you all. Oliver and Diane.

To the couple who Took Wilbur in God Bless You!!You will have more love in your home than you will ever know!!I do not know why the couple just dropped him off I only hope it was for humane reasons and they were trying to do the right thing. To the monster who shot Wilbur There is a special type of Hell waiting for you I also believe in Karma and I can only hope what you did to Wilbur some one does it to you

I agree with IloveSD. The person who shot poor Wilbur is truly a terrible individual and needs to be fed to a tiger live. Thank you, Oliver and Diane, for giving little Wilbur a home; he will repay your kindness many times over with his love. Greetings from east Germany. LML, Sonja, Klein Max, Minke and Schneeball

It seems whatever the damages perpetrated on animals by the monsters among us - the animals forgive and try to go on living - and thankfully for every monster there are people like the couple who adopted Wilbur that give us all hope. Thank you to them and the people who brought Wilbur to the shelter

Hey! I think it's a wonderful thing that cruelty to animals is a felony in California. If the couple who brought Wilbur in did so out of kindness & concern, and were'nt involved in the injury itself, (Samuel - what you say makes sense)then they are to be commended. He is a beautiful kitten, and I hope they can find out who would do this - a current felon and future serial killer...

Hey, its good to see some semblance of optimism on this website, CBS 8 is all acusatory. Im friends with the couple who dropped off the cat, and NO they did not shoot it. they were down in spring valley and they found the cat with the eye shot out, and they brought it to hellen woodward for help. They did not just show up, dump the cat and leave, He went to the vet center, and knocked on the door hoping to find someone who could let them leave the cat inside, he wasnt checking if the coast was clear like everyone says, if youll notice, the survailance footage is clipped, cutting out him knocking on the door, as well as his girlfriend petting and comforting the cat for a while before they left, they did everything they could for the poor animal instead of leaving it for dead like alot of people would... they also left it with food and water, as well as some towels for warmth, etc. Im tired of reading about people who assume that they did it and left it there, after all, anyone who shoots an animal wouldnt go to the extent to bring it to a shelter, the cats lucky they did what they did otherwise it would be dead right know, my .02

I hope the couple was doing the right thing and not the cause of Wilbur's injury. I will pray that the cruel monster who shot this kitten is found and punished to the fullest extent. Of course, in my court, he/she would receive the death penalty and then executed after I passed the sentence down. Lucky for them.....

Maybe this couple found the kitten & thought this would be doing something good for the little guy? Think positive instead of negative........... I take in stray cats all the time.
