Animal House
Gracie: Friday's Adoption Pet 1/13/12Gracie is a Corgi/Aussie mix, available for adoption from a rescue agency called Dogz In Need. She's a low-maintenance girl who's already housebroken and minds very well. They know this for a fact because she's in a foster home, which makes the transition into a permanent home so much easier on the adopters. Gracie likes to stay close to her people, and prefers a calm environment without a lot of excitement and activity. She'd do well in an adult-only home, or one with teenagers or older kids, who tend to be more calm and gentle with a dog. She does really well with smaller dogs but will also tolerate bigger ones. Cats, however, are a no no!! She takes a few minutes to warm up to people, and then she just wants to be loved. Gracie walks well on a leash and loves to go on walks. She's a wonderful dog who'd love to cuddle up with you while you're watching a movie, or hang out with you in the kitchen you while you cook dinner. If you're interested in adopting Gracie or finding out how you can get involved in fostering a pet, call Dogz In Need in the North County at (951) 290-1666.
