Karma: Friday Adoption Pet 1/27/12

By San Diego 6 News Desk

One of the best things about adopting a dog from a foster home, is that you get to save the life of a shelter pet, but someone else has already done a trial run with the dog to learn about it's personality and habits.  In this case, Karma is living with a foster family who says she's an excellent dog who is already housebroken, great with other dogs, and is well-behaved around their young children.

The foster mom works from home, so she is able to spend a lot of time getting to know Karma and she only has positive things to report, like how easily Karma has picked up on her basic commands.  She's a 3-year-old, 60 lb. Pit Bull mix and her adoption fee is only $25 for the next 5 days only.

The Escondido Humane Society would also like me to remind you to call or log onto their website to learn about fostering a shelter animal, or to find out about their upcoming Valentine's Day Pet Portraits on February 4th to which you can bring your own pet.  The shelter is located on East Valley Parkway, and they're open every day from 10 am to 3 pm. You can call them at (760) 888-2275 (BARK).
