Peanut: Tuesday Adoption Pet 1/10/12UPDATE: Peanut has been adopted! To learn more about other adoptable animals, contact the San Diego Animal Support Foundation at www.SDShelters.com.
Peanut is a 3 year old Chihuahua available for adoption from Boxers N Birds Animal Rescue. He was relinquished by a family who had fallen on hard times and could no longer keep him or his brother, Oreo, a little Yorkie-Poo. Peanut has been available for adoption for about 4 months and he's come a long way in that time. He used to be so scared and protective of his brother, but he's really coming out of his shell. He likes other dogs, big and small, and he walks very nicely on a leash. He can take a little bit of time to warm up to you, but once he does, he is your best friend and he loves to be held. Peanut is in good health, microchipped, neutered and just looking for his forever home. If you're interested in meeting Peanut, please e-mail Pam at BoxersNBirds@aol.com or call Mission Animal & Bird Hospital in Oceanside, at (760) 433-3763 ext. x224.. |
