Shelly: Thursday Adoption Pet 2/15/12UPDATE: Shelly has been adopted! To learn more about other adoptable animals, contact the San Diego Animal Support Foundation at www.SDShelters.com.
Shelly was taken to the El Cajon Animal Shelter after she was found in the motor of someone's car. Her tail was severely injured and required immediate amputation. Because of her injury she's been overlooked by potential adopters since Christmas, which is when she was made available for adoption. She's a super sweet cat who is good with all people, including children, and other felines, and she'd probably be fine with a cat-friendly dog. She does have to remain indoors from now on, but she's perfectly litter-box-trained, so that shouldn’t be a problem. Shelly is just 3 years old, with short hair and tortoise shell coloring. She's spayed, fully vaccinated, tested for feline diseases and microchipped, and her adoption fee is just $80. Use ID number 10960 when you inquire about her at the El Cajon Animal Shelter, which is located on North Marshall Street, and open from 10 am to 5:30 pm Tuesday through Saturday. You can call them at (619) 579-3375. |
