Silk: Monday Adoption Pet 1/9/12Silk is a beautiful 2-year-old spayed female Pit Bull mix available for adoption through the Escondido Humane Society's foster program. She's a tenacious young dog with lots of energy to burn. She loves to chase tennis balls and will retrieve as many as you'll throw for her. When she's tired from playing, she likes to sit next to her people for some bonding time. She especially enjoys a nice belly rub. Silk has been participating in the canine good citizen dog training at the shelter and knows sit, down, stay, and leave it. The shelter would prefer to find her a home where she is the only dog in the family because she doesn't really like to share her toys. The Escondido Humane Society is located at 3450 E.
