Virgil: Monday Adoption Pet 1/30/12

Tools

By San Diego 6 News Desk

Virgil is a 2-year-old neutered male Chihuahua mix for adoption at the Escondido Humane Society.

He's your typical Chihuahua with a pint-sized frame, but he's spirited and outgoing. His foster family reports that he does well with the other small dogs in the home and loves to cuddle with people. Because of his size, Virgil would be a great companion for apartment dwellers, but he wouldn't mind having a yard to play in, either.

His adoption fee is just $25 until the end of January.  He's neutered, microchipped, vet checked, and vaccinated. If you aren't ready to adopt, please consider fostering an animal in need. It doesn't cost you anything, and all materials and training are provided.

The Escondido Humane Society is open from 10am to 5pm seven days a week. You can call them at (760) 594-7605.  Also, a reminder to mark your calendars for Valentine's Day Pet Portraits this Saturday, February 4th from 10am to 4pm at the shelter.  It's a fun opportunity to create cards and memories for the animal lovers in your life.  Call (760) 888-BARK or visit EscondidoHumaneSociety.org for details.
