Each year, movie buffs fuss over which films should be nominated for an Academy Award and which actor (or actress) will take home a beloved Oscar. However, there is an unsung hero in many of those “Best Pictures” that hardly gets any credit…the car!

Automotive expert James Bell, “drives” us through some of the best movies where the car has reached ultimate stardom in Hollywood.

This year, there are many cars that have made the coveted list. Nominees include: “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” and “Drive.” But there are quite a few which didn’t make the cut. “Cars 2” was shockingly snubbed from the Best Animated Picture list along with favorites such as “Mission Impossible 4” and “Harry Potter.”

So, instead of ogling at gorgeous gowns and updos, turn your attention to rims and wheels as James talks his predictions for The Academy Awards and the films he thinks might take home one of those cherished statues.
